NegotAIte is a public-benefit open academic network building an algorithmic negotiator agent that models AI systems in operation and negotiates AI that is at risk of going wrong back to a normal state. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between everyday AI users and the research frontiers of AI, making the tool safer and more comprehensive, and seeking ways to truly benefit human civilization.

Mission

NegotAIte supports a thoughtful and inclusive approach to AI safety. We encourage public AI product users and cross-disciplinary contributors to participate without competitive barriers to share their ideas, reflections, or feelings through daily experiences with AI. This is a safe space for your voice to be highly respected and turned into effective output to science and technology. We hope to respect for diverse human values by keeping an open mind for voices from individuals.

Open participation

Anyone can submit a concise preliminary idea to join the frontier, regardless of background. We focus on inquiry over credentials.

Cognition diversity

We address AI's human impact by cultivating independent thinking and avoiding narrow-minded or single-message value enforcement.

Academic incubation

Inspirational ideas selected by the team can enter a research review process and be transformed into professional technical proposals.

Public benefit

Produced AI product and methodologies out of our academic pool will be returned to the AI industry to contribute to cutting-edge research & pressing technology security threats.

Why NegotAIte

Our approach recognizes that AI is not only a technical tool, but also a medium for social and value impacts. People have not yet fully prepared for the newly-arised intelligent being which grows at an astounding speed, and we need more from different fields to join us in guarding the human subjectivity in the era. We noticed a gap between users and political or technical developers, thus we are working on bridging it to make AI tools more socially acceptable.
